
Daniel Ostretsov
Daniel Ostretsov was born in Russe. Graduated in “Vasil Stoyanov” Music High School in the same town. Won Third Prize in “Svetoslav Obretenov” competition for young opera singers, held in Provadia. Graduated his higher education in “Pancho Vladigerov “State Music Academy in Sofia, then continued his vocal study with the famous tenor N. Nicolov and Professor L. Gablenska; apart from that he took an active part in the master classes of Kaludi Kaludov, Master Class (technica interpretazione vocale operistica) with Mirella Paruto and Antonio Boyer.
Daniel Ostretsov acquired extensive stage experience of prestigious European scenes, which goes to the bulgarian and foreign conductors. The names of the few he worked with are Eraldo Salmieri, Methodi Matakiev, Nedyalko Nedyalkov, Ivan Marinov, Mihail Angelov, Georgi Dimitrov, Naiden Todorov.
In addition, he has given performances and has taken part in performances on the opera stages in Austria, Germany, Holland, Denmark and the USA. Daniel Ostretsov is now a soloist in the Opera of Russe.
