Svetozar Rangelov was born in Sofia . He graduated from National Academy of Music in 1995 where his vocal teacher was prof. Asen Selimski.
During his education Svetozar Rangelov get the first prise at the National Singing Contest Hristo Brambarov in November 1995 and also was one of the participant in Cardiff - Singer of the World in June 1995.
He made his debut in April 1995 as Don Basilio/Il Barbiere di Siviglia – G. Rossini/ at the National Opera House – Sofia and since February 1996 he has became a part of it.
