Georgi Rusafov received advanced education for teaching ballet and choreography at the Bulgarian National Music Conservatory -"P.VIadigerov" - Sofia, Bulgaria.

Georgi Rusafov won second prize in the National Competition "Anastas Petrov" in Bulgaria and was a participant in the International Ballet Competition - Varna 2002 and 2006. He was also invited to compete in the International Ballet Competition - Helsinki 2005.

He toured Spain, Greece, Germany, Holland and Italy with Sofia National Opera and Ballet. He toured Egypt as a principal guest artist with Roberta Ballet.

Georgi Rusafov has performed as a principal dancer with the Sofia National Opera and Ballet and Estonia National Ballet. He was as a principal dancer for Milwaukee Ballet, Northern Plains Ballet, Ballet Arizona and Omaha Theatre Ballet. And performed as a principal guest artist with San Diego City Ballet, West Arkansas Ballet, Ballet Northeast and Kalispell Classical Dance

Since 2008 he is a principal dancer in the Rousse State Ballet
